A consequence of this is that all paintings are based around the Bristol and Bath area. I am particularly fortunate as there are so many beautiful buildings, streets, and fantastic architecture around. I particularly like using Bath as an inspiration, as the buildings are erected from limestone and have a much softer, appealing taste. My style leans heavily on impressionism and cites such famous influences as Picasso and Monet. But mainly my personal favourite Stephen Wiltshire, who specialises in very intricate, busy city scenes.
