Manchester Neighbourhood Care Groups Association

The Association brings together seven Neighbourhood Care Groups working together as a partnership. Each Care Group has its own independent Management Committee and a paid part-time Co-ordinator. The main funding for the Manchester Neighbourhood Care Groups Association comes from Manchester City Council and fundraising.

The services to older people in the seven care group areas are provided through the individual Neighbourhood Care Groups by volunteers. The Care Groups promote valuing older people and provide opportunities for isolated people to meet others and be a part of society.
